WELCOME!
Welcome to Volume 1 of Q&V. The site here is more or less as it was when it was an open chapter, so don't pay too much attention to dates. Volume 2 is also hosted as part of abarefootman.co.uk, so once you've been through the first 201 issues here you can go on to the next lot here. If you're new to Q&V, I suggest you start at the beginning. Click here for Issue 1. And So It Begins!

Latest news
Late Evening, 26th October 2005: It is with a tear in my eye that I bring Q&V to a close. I can understand their need to rest, as their feelings are mine as well. I am going to take an extended break from creating new Q&V comics, and it remains to be seen whether I will return to it or not. Rest assured though, the site will remain online for a good while yet whether I come back to it or not, so you can revisit old issues, take a trip down memory lane, perhaps see something new in an issue that you didn't see the first time around. It'll also be here for those who have yet to read the comic to see it, to get to know the characters that have taken on a life of their own over the many issues and many months.
I have created a Thank You page which I'd like you all to visit. The depths of my gratitude to people and influences alike are enormous - I simply could not have done it without you. If you want to share your thoughts on Q&V, don't hesitate to email me, I'd love to hear from you, to hear what you liked, or didn't like, or what you'd have done if the choice was in your hands. Any support or requests to keep it going are likely to be influential factors in whether I return to it or not, so do bear that in mind. I'll also keep adding any guest issues or fanart you wish to send in, so read further down for details of that.
Merchandise will still be very much available, so feel free to browse the section and order up the set-designs or your favourite issues on a t-shirt.
And so, with ISSUE 201, dear Questor and Viagron, I wish you good night.
[For newcomers, please visit the News section for some groovy backstory, or if you'd prefer to dive right into the comics, the story starts here.]

A Note To Publishers
Let it be public knowledge that if anyone wants to put Q&V into print, either from existing issues or new creations, they need only email me and they will have a very good chance of being replied to in the positive. The same applies to using Q&V issues elsewhere on the net, for humour or for education - Just drop me a line and I'll probably give you permission, whether the enterprise is free or commercial, but don't take it without asking.

Guest Issues And Fan Art
If you've got any ideas for Guest Issues or if you have or want to share some of your own Q&V based art, email me with details and I'll arrange to get it from you and on to the site. For Guest Issues, to fit in with the style of the site the images will be shrunk to 600 pixels high by 290 wide, so bear that in mind in your ratios for drawing so they don't get squashed up or stretched out too much on the re-size. For fan art, I'll create a new page, so the dimensions of those images can be more flexible. I look forward to seeing your stuff.

What's it all about?
Back in school days, my friend Sayer met with both Questor, the pencil, and Viagron, the rubber. The story is a long and exciting one, but maybe you can imagine it even better than it was.
Feeling inspired to make a comic, the timely reminiscing of these two anthropomorphs gave me the perfect subjects.
People sometimes ask if animals dream. But what about asking if pencils and rubbers dream? And if they do, what then?
This comic gives a possible answer.

Comments
The new comments system is in play! Each issue will come with details about how many comments have been made, and with a link to show them, and to add one yourself. Only (nick)name, rough location, and comment are required. It's a quick and easy way to comment on an individual issue, so please give it a whirl! For more general comments (or to view all of the individual issue comments in one go), visit the Comments section. If there are any bugs or problems with the commenting I'd appreciate it if you'd email me about it so I can fix it and get it working properly.
