Gallery

Well, I did in fact draw up a copy of the first 3 issues of Q&V and framed them, and got them into my local art gallery, What If..

It was fun getting it all together, and actually showing off my work. Nobody bought it - I’ve no idea why, 10 pounds was a real bargain! ;) - so it has returned home with me and is on my wall. If anyone is interested in having prints of their favourite issues made up and framed do let me know, it could be an interesting sideline for me. Or if you’ve got any other creative ways that you’d like to use Q&V, drop me an email.

Off To Sweden

19/06/07 @ 10:15

Well, it’s been many months now since a new issue has been drawn, Q&V must really be enjoying their Cloud Talk. I’m off to Sweden for a while, so it’s not likely that there’ll be any more issues forthcoming… until such time as there is, you never know.

The site will stay open for your viewing pleasure, at least until August when the years’ subscription is up, but probably longer. All things must pass away in time, but with enough money, I can be immortalized on the internet for as long as it exists!

Be cool, and keep drawing!

Love,

Lewis

My LORD! Nearly 4 months since the last update, and I gave no word of my sudden disappearance either! Q&V, what have you been up to in all that time? Come to think of it, what have *I* been up to? Life is strange and unfolding, perhaps it’s time for Q&V Volume 3… watch this space.

In the meantime, I’d like to bring your attention to a new webcomic which I found most amusing…. for the most part. Like all good pieces of expression, it is not designed to necessarily be understood by everyone at all times, a trick I have used very often here at Q&V. Sometimes we can only wonder at what it is that someone finds so funny, and maybe have a chuckle at that. And heck, the drawings are great, I love simple cartoons!

So, I urge ye, visit HandRooster, and share the humour with your friends as well!

Decembrrrrrrr!

6/12/06 @ 19:04

Well, it’s getting colder, but not THAT cold yet… it’s been a interestingly late and mild winter so far, but things are starting to look pretty sparse out there now that most of the leaves have fallen.

Allow me to apologize for the extended break. What with my other commitments and interests, Q&V seem to be taking a bit of a backseat. And that’s ok, they’re enjoying their cloud talk I’m sure.

So, I’m not really sure what’s going to happen (at least I’m finally admitting that instead of the usual illusion that I know how things will turn out), but I will make one promise - sometime in December there will be a Christmas Issue, something a bit special to celebrate the season.  So, check back now and then for that. And otherwise, I suggest that those of you who are able subscribe to the RSS feed on the site, so that you can get automatically updated whenever something new is posted. If you don’t know what an RSS feed is, or how to use one, then please take a look around the web to find out - I only barely know myself and doubt I could help you much.

But! Until then, enjoy December, and the winter, and those chocolates in the windows for those of you lucky enough to have an advent calendar. Season’s greetings to you all.

Happy Birthday To The Hand Behind The Comic

Q&V express their deepest congratulations that I have reached the ripe old age of 25. It is truly a time to celebrate, and may there be many more years of life for me and many more comics!
