This is issue #207. I know it’s been a while since the last one, but I’ve been working on the other site and this one and generally getting my new computer organized. I also produced the very first digitally drawn Q&V greeting card for my friend Rob’s birthday. Which means, yes, some digitally drawn Q&V may well be forthcoming…
This issue is an in-joke, and like most in-jokes, it is found extremely amusing by those in on the joke, and abstract or unfunny by those out of the loop. While I have been complimented on the universality of the Volume 2 issues so far, I cannot forget that the spirit of Q&V is parody and in-jokes as well as the universally funny, and so I must accept that there are some jokes that the vast majority will not understand. I will aim to strike a good balance, but if the meaning is lost on you, I can only ask that you to form a rye smile, knowing that someone, somewhere, is getting a kick out of this.
