The Gift Of Words
If I could put to you, in words,
The beauty of Creation,
And open your heart to the power of its Love:
That would be a gift worth having,
A gift worth sharing,
And a gift worth dying for.
It can be easy to think that somehow words and art are meaningless and make no real contribution to life. This is a reminder, to me and to you, that language is a great gift indeed.

It’s as if you had seen into the future with that post. I saw it just now after having a day of questioning myself and my actions. Thanks.

Hehe, no problem Mike. As I see it, questioning is about balance - too little, and you might not make the best of your life (never questioning if you’re actually in a job that gives you little satisfaction, etc.), but too much and you might not take any action at all! Being paralyzed by “am I doing the right thing? What if I’m doing the wrong thing?” is no fun at all.
A time comes when you just have to take a deep breath and say “I trust my unfolding process”.

You’re right, it is easy to dismiss words and art, but a study of Zen Haiku poetry soon brings the realisation of how much just a few syllables can conjure up. It’s all in the imagination of the reader.
I had a moment at work the other day which may have changed the direction of my career, I was a little unsure but in the end I went with it. I trusted the process, so often in my life I haven’t, I’ve been paralysed with indecision and apprehension. I’ve always regretted it.

Quite so Richard. It’s amazing to me how much a few carefully chosen words can create such an array of ideas, images or feelings.
Well done on your moment of change - I’ve been reading about something called “the path of heart”, which is trusting your process, holding to your highest visions…. I look forward to hearing about your changes when you’re ready to share them.
Good journeys my friend.
